I had wanted to play Blind Seer this game, but the guy that played Purphoros was going to play his Oloro deck, and didn’t want to play it against my silly color-change deck for some reason, so he took out purphoros instead. If he was going to ditch decks, so was I, so I took out Jedit Ojanen instead.

I kept a 3 land hand. Balthor opened with a Candelabra of Tawnos, Oloro had a Maze of Ith and soon both Erebos and Heliod. Arcades had a Prophet of Kruphix and Purphoros got out a Gratuitous Violence and his general. I managed a Gharial and a Parallel Lives with Grizzly Fate. I managed to also get an Active Beastmaster’s Ascension.

Balthor dropped Mikaeus and a Gray Merchant of Asphodel (but no life gain due to Erebos. Arcades played Mana Reflection and a green Myojin. Oloro was protected by No Mercy. Balthor wiped the board with Decree of Pain (well, not the gods or the myojin). Because I attacked him a few times with a 1/1 alligator, Purphoros was picking on me and knocked me down to 8. Then he played a Goblin Offensive thinking it was going to kill everyone, but Arcades Lived by popping his Myojin and getting any Emypyreal Archangel to soak some damage. Next turn he blinked Purphoros’ board and swung for the win. I was happy that he won.

About the Deck (tapped out someday)
This is the Animals deck. Most of the creatures are natural animals (bears, tigers… hopefully a Mtenda Lion). It’s just a beat down deck without much cleverness.
